Back... Finally
After several days of trying to figure out why my FCGI stopped allowing Django to work on my root domain, I finally got it to work on my subdomains. Because I’m still unable to get it to work properly on my root domain, I will be forwarding the root domain to http://www2.wolfsreign.com/ in the same manner as Jeff Croft.
With any luck, this will be the last major change that will happen to the site. That is, provided of course that Dreamhost doesn’t decide to break on me again.
The worst part of the breakage is the fact that I couldn’t even figure out what broke exactly. Just one day my FCGI script started throwing an error in my Apache logs.
(2)No such file or directory: FastCGI: failed to connect to (dynamic) server "/home/merlin903/wolfsreign.com/django.fcgi": something is seriously wrong, any chance the socket/named_pipe directory was removed?, see the FastCgiIpcDir directive
If you have any clue what that means, could you let me know. I’ve looked all over the internet and haven’t been able to find a definitive answer for what that means, and how to fix it.
