Site Returns

After over a week of my homepage serving an error, I finally was able to figure out the problem, and get it resolved. It’s amazing what the debug info Django gives you will tell you.

It’s the same information as what Django emails you when you have an error and debug turned off, but in a much nicer visual format. That made all the difference in me being able to solve the problem.

Hopefully that will not happen again in the future. If it does, I hope that I’ll be able to find the problem a lot sooner than I figured it out this time. It was a learning experience if nothing else.

About Me

I am an Application Developer for Fox Interactive Media. I am currently in the Stations group, working on the MyFox family of sites (MyFox LA). On top of working for FIM, I also design and develop websites for myself and on as a freelance contractor.

I have been working in the industry professionally for the past four years, and have worked with great companies, and even greater people. Some of the companies that I've had the pleasure to work for include Schematic, Iventa, 101communications (now 1105media), and MySpace.
